Find and remove duplicate rows in Google Sheets. Pick the columns, preview what matches, then choose what happens to them. Paid add-on with a free tier
What it does
- Find duplicates (keep the first or last copy), all copies of duplicated rows, rows that appear only once, or one copy of every row.
- Match on any columns. Options: ignore upper/lower case, trim spaces (including the invisible kinds), treat runs of spaces as one, treat 42 and "42" as the same, skip blank rows.
- Preview the count and the first rows before anything changes.
- Then: highlight, select, copy to a new sheet, move to a new sheet, or delete.
- Safe by default. The default action is "copy to a new sheet", which never touches your data. Move and delete make a backup copy of the sheet first unless you turn that off.

Clean Sheet asks for the smallest set Google offers for this job:
- View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in: only the spreadsheet you have open, not your other files.
- Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars: to show the sidebar.
- See your primary Google Account email address: to tie a Pro purchase to your account.
Your cell data is processed inside Google's Apps Script and is never sent to us. See the privacy policy.
Help
Extensions → Clean Sheet → Find duplicates… opens the sidebar. Select your data first, or let it use the whole sheet. If something goes wrong, use Undo (Ctrl/Cmd+Z) or the backup sheet, and email us.
